This is one small service that we provide that helps the homeless in a large way. A typical State ID costs anywhere from $8 to $18. This may seem very minor, but to someone that’s homeless it is a huge amount for a huge need. They can get arrested for not having one. They cannot get a job without one, or if they do, they cannot get their paycheck cashed without one. They cannot get into housing without one, or they cannot enter into some offices without one such as Social Security or the Food Stamp office. We do average about 30 ID’s a month.
